Is it fake tan?

No. It contains no DHA, so it does not stain, smell or develop. It is makeup: it sits on the skin, covers evenly and washes off with cleanser.

Will it come off on clothes, sheets or furniture?

Once it has set, it is transfer-resistant through a normal day, including heat and sweat. The Setting Spray adds extra protection for long events. It is removed with cleanser or the Cleansing Oil, not by rubbing.
